ICT motherboard puzzle

To attract and engage prospective IT students, Easysee developed an innovative Augmented Reality (AR) motherboard puzzle for the open day at Aventus Deventer. This interactive demo challenges new ICT students to physically build a computer by placing hardware component cards onto a base motherboard.

The application utilizes advanced AR image recognition through the device’s camera to instantly identify which hardware card has been placed. Gamification plays a central role in this experience: users receive real-time visual feedback, and when all the correct components are successfully assembled, they win the game. This project perfectly illustrates how immersive AR technology and gamified learning can transform a standard open day presentation into a highly engaging, memorable recruitment tool for technical schools.

  • Educational Partner: Aventus Deventer (ICT Program).
  • AR Object Recognition: Utilizes advanced camera tracking to recognize physical hardware cards and project digital outcomes in real-time.
  • Gamified Recruitment: Integrates interactive game mechanics (win-states) to engage and challenge prospective students during open days.
  • Interactive Event Tech: An engaging, hands-on AR demonstration that bridges the gap between physical hardware and digital education.
