Koudetechniek in VR: Virtual Reality Refrigeration Training & Education
In collaboration with Emagine, Easysee developed an engaging Virtual Reality application for the Oculus Go, designed to visualize the complex mechanics of industrial cooling systems. This educational tool was specifically created to inspire and recruit prospective students who are considering a degree in refrigeration technology (koudetechniek). By stepping into the virtual environment, users can observe exactly how a cooling cycle operates from the inside out.
To make the learning experience both highly effective and entertaining, the application features dynamic particle effects, fluid 3D animations, and a helpful, interactive talking robot guide. After completing the VR presentation, students can immediately test their newfound knowledge with a built-in interactive quiz. This project demonstrates how immersive technology and gamification can make technical education highly accessible and appealing to the next generation of engineers.
