VR Industrial Spraying Simulation
Easysee recently had the pleasure of developing a highly engaging Virtual Reality (VR) project for a client specialized in industrial pickling liquid sprayers. Our mission was to create an interactive, competitive VR environment specifically tailored for a major technology trade show. The simulation allowed booth visitors to safely practice using the sprayer, learn proper application techniques, and understand the nuances of a typical industrial spraying environment.
To make the experience as realistic and engaging as possible, we integrated comprehensive live data tracking. As users operated the virtual sprayer, they received real-time feedback on their performance. The highest scorers were featured on an interactive leaderboard and became eligible for physical prizes, adding an exciting layer of gamification that massively boosted booth engagement and lead generation. This project perfectly demonstrates Easysee’s ability to combine complex industrial technology with practical, highly entertaining VR applications.
- 3D Model Optimization: We meticulously enhanced and optimized the client’s existing CAD/3D models to ensure a flawless, high-performance VR experience.
- Custom Shader Development: We engineered a bespoke shader to visually simulate the liquid coverage on the targeted object, accurately displaying the effectiveness and thickness of the applied pickling liquid in real-time.
- Live Performance Analytics: The VR application actively tracked vital metrics during gameplay, including spray time, coverage percentage, average distance and speed, wasted liquid volume, and directional efficiency.
- Gamified Scoring System: Participants received a comprehensive total score based on their technical performance. Users could log their scores on a live leaderboard, driving fierce competition and keeping attendees engaged at the trade show booth.
