Last Thursday, September 10th, Easysee hosted a thrilling public playtest of our ongoing collaborative VR experience at Starworld.
Over the course of the afternoon, more than 20 participants got to experience and enjoy two virtual reality bumper cart games: Starcarts and Crystal Cave. Divided into six groups of two, each cart featured a driver and a shooter, fully equipped with haptic suits for maximum immersion.
We won’t dive into all the gameplay specifics just yet, keep an eye on our projects page for detailed descriptions soon! But the games featured everything from collecting coins and dodging ghosts to surviving absolute mayhem in a portal-filled crystal arena.
The test was a massive success. It was amazing to feel the energy in the room slowly shift from quiet anticipation to excited remarks, lively conversations, and a fierce, friendly competition to make it to the top of the leaderboard.
